Transjakarta Commits to Keep Improving its Services"Hope BUMD will continue to review this recommendation thus Transjakarta services become the people's choice for migrating private transportation to mass transportation," he expressed, on the sidelines of a meeting with KNKT, Transjakarta, and Transportation Agency (Dishub), Monday (8/1) yesterday.
The same expectation also came out from Jakarta DPRD Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi. He wanted Transjakarta to have strong regulations to implement the recommendations effectively.
"This needs to be done for the safety and comfort of passengers," he asserted.
PT Transjakarta President Director Mochammad Yana Aditya revealed that the recommendation has been implemented since last December.
"We received direct assistance from the KNKT. Throughout this month there have been several recommendations carried out. This is due to close cooperation with operators to create security and safety actions for passengers," he explained.
KNKT Senior Investigator Ahmad Wildan explained that he was very enthusiastic since he was asked for help in supervising Transjakarta regarding the repair and prevention of accidents. It was because Transjakarta would become a role model for mass transportation throughout Indonesia.
"There are four main areas in this recommendation such as managing the organization and risk management, fleet feasibility, track worthiness, and readiness of the transportation company," he closed.
